    Where to have coyote tanned?

So now that North Texas Tannery is no longer doing coyotes, foxes, bobcats and whatever else who do you recommend?

Wife wants a coyote from our place tanned to go with the fox

Not sure why NTT stopped doing them but I am sorry to learn that because he did a great job on everything I ever sent him and his prices were great too

I was there a few months ago. He had a lot of exotics, elk, bear etc. He took my deer hide though.

I am not sure why he quit, maybe not enough money in those?
Guy started a thread asking about getting hog and coyote tanned and someone commented he quit doing coyotes, fox and bobcat. I am sure he probably quit doing coons, beavers and such too but don't know that for a fact.

I will have to see what I can find on Hillbilly Hides

That was me. Looking at possibly shipping out of state to get a yote and hog hide tanned at reasonable prices

I have used Moyles in Idaho for as long as I can remember. The hides are always perfect when returned.

Yes, I have heard good reports from Moyle Mink and Tannery but have never used them.

Keep us posted with whoever you go with. Good luck.

Logan at Outdoor Connection in Jacksonville might be able to send it off somewhere. I asked him about a bobcat last year and he said he could send it off. I don't remember what he quoted me though...$125, maybe?

Moyle Mink is great but only takes salted or dried and stretched.
They will do a coyote for $ 32 and a bobcat for $34.50 cased hides.

I figured it would be hard to find a deal like NTT had

I never messed with them, just skinned, rolled up, freeze and take to them, they did all the fleshing etc

Guess I am gonna have to learn that now
