I had the same problem. I put a solar hot wire with 3 strands around the outside of my pen. Havent had one in there since. They come to check it once in a while but they are shocked to see it is still on. LOL

Yes 3 strands low. If you have grass around the edges you have to kill it though or it will ground the whole system and it wont work. Ill post a pic from my Spartan.
