    Axis mount forms?

Can y’all post pics of your axis wall pedestals and if you know what form it is, that info would be great. Looking at the Jet AX13.

    Thanks

Jetz Taxidermy Axis Extended Wall Pedestal

It looks much better IMO than the regular wall pedestals, but you have to have kept nearly the entire hide to make it work. It's a big form

I have the entire cape all the way to the tail!! I don’t think I like the way that one goes back but will keep it in mind. Thank you sir.

Hills of Texas Taxidermy in Llano. Not sure about the form number or type, but it's very similar to Boneheads mount. Best looking mount in my trophy room!

Man that is a stud!!!! Congrats..
He is worthy of a full pedestal mount... But here are a couple on Jets new extended WP.

It takes a BIG bodied axis to fit them, and a long cut cape.. I think yours should fit. He looks like a toad. The one on the right is 22"(actual) at the ears and the one on the left is 21"(actual) at the ears..

Idk measurements on mine. I can’t imagine him not being that big with what he weighed.

Didn’t weight mine. Weighed my buddy’s that was the same size body and about the same fat and all and his was 246 lbs.

I killed one in December that weighed 240ish LW and he was 24" at the ears.
With it being the rut you should be plenty good.

I’ll see what Chance comes up with on measurements

I mount a lot of deer on the ax 13 form from Jetz, but he has a large line of forms that all look great.
