    2 county deer lease question

A buddy of mine is looking at a 300ac. deer lease that is in 2 counties. The lease is split 70/30 and he wants to know if he is hunting both counties on the same lease if he can shoot two 13" or greater bucks, both counties are AR.

    Yes.
If they are 1 buck counties you can technically shoot 1 buck in each county. Then if he gets a invite to another lease in a different county he can shoot another.

Yes, as long as he kills one buck in each county. Even though its legal the lease rules may still only allow you to kill one by their rules though.

Our lease intersects 3 counties so we legally can kill 3 bucks each. The local wardens hate it and tell us they don’t approve but the law is the law. Make sure that you follow the rules very closely.

Just make sure you can prove what part of the ranch you killed it, just in case johnny law shows up.

It's not for them to "approve". The law is the law and that's what they are paid to enforce. Anything else and they can pound sand.
