Nope. I actually thought about doing a 1st season rifle hunt in that unit as there were leftover tags but decided against it. I scoured the area a bit but have spent much more time in 80 south of south fork.

My next guess was probably down by Big Meadow

A few years back just West of Pagosa Springs a guy shot a 340 class bull with his bow on public land and at low elevation. We came up on him right as he was loading the bull in his truck. We on the other hand hiked our butts off and never even got a bull in bow range. Self guiding is tough when you are bow hunting but well worth it!

I just so happen to have a cow tag for 76, 3rd rifle. Leaving in 2 weeks. Too bad it is not a bull tag.

Sick as a dog. Been feeling like crud for the last few days but I figured it'd go away. But now I'm coughing up a lung on the side of the mountain! Hope I get to feeling better cause hunting like this will suck. Hopefully I can get back to sleep.

Got some good advice from a couple different locals. Hunting might get better when some of the weekenders leave. But I'm elk hunting in colorado so I'm not gonna complain!
