Big 8 was shot in October 2019. He was 4.5 years old and had been seen by every hunter in 5 miles. And because he was so visible, I decided to take him as soon as I had the opportunity. I was hoping for a P&Y but alas, unofficial tape indicates he's a little short.
Fat Albert, on the right, was shot in December 2017. He was 7.5 years old and was the biggest thing in the woods we've ever seen. I normally would not have paid for a full shoulder mount on a buck with antlers like that, but my friend talked me into it because of the boy's size.
