I get complacent with high let off and sometimes forget to keep pulling into my shot.

The other guy may enjoy feeling like they’re holding nothing. It’s all relative to the individual.

Thanks, I have an 80 lb RX-7, and the let off really throws me off coming from an HTX. Appreciate it!

Another thing is that the higher letoffs are a bit more critical of torque, especially face contact. On some of the super short bows (28 - 30 ATA range), guys tend to bury the string into their face in order to drop their nose to the string.

Its a PITA to try to paper tune when they do that, but lower letoff didn't effect it as much.

        Everythings a trade off!

Shooting an xpedite with 90% let off. It shoots awesome and fast. But... like constantly mentioned, st 70lbs i can't let down without losing an arrow, and it certainly doesn't seem to hold as steady. Mind you i still make plenty of good shots, but for me personally, it plays more on mental game relating to pin float
