Help!! Which deer to shoot!? Culling...

The ranch I hunt on has a lot of younger dinky deer. We are almost overrun with them, and the land owner wants us to take out a good bit of mouths to feed.

My question is... which deer would y’all rather shoot...a spike with one little spike that is probably 1.5-2 years old or a 7pt that doesn’t has an okay rack as far as hill country deer go, but won’t be anything impressive?

They are both here right now and I I’m about to let an arrow fly!

    Advice!!?

The 7 if he is old.

              Spike looks like a yearling
              Let him walk.

Hill country 7s are a epidemic..[emoji849]...spike could grow into something.

Maybe 3.5, but that may be pushing it

My son was going to shoot an unimpressive 7 a few years ago for his first deer. Could not get a shot. I shot him the next year at right at 135 8 point with 12" g2's

Slick 7 has a hole in him!

Going to give him a few minutes.

The only place I get service Here on the ranch is here in the blind and one little spot back at camp. I’ll try to upload the LDP if I can.

                            Thanks fellas!
