What lathe under 10k?

The grizzly I have is starting to **** me off with the slop it has. Just seems to be getting worse. What lathe would y’all be looking at for around 8-10k? I’ve got a couple in mind and some used ones I’m looking at. No DRO needed but I wouldn’t mind having one either. Thought about having someone come and work that grizzly over but still kinda putting lipstick on a pig IMHO.

Look for one made in Taiwan. I've got a Turn Pro that works well for me.

What size/model grizzly? It have a ton of use on it? Have you checked to see if the gibs are loose? That’s what it sounds like to me.

12 X 36. I'm gonna give it a decent once over and sand the gibs down a little and take the table off to tighten it down and take some of the backlash out. Just kinda have the itch to upgrade a little...surely y'all understand
