    ATV/UTV Battery

I was just curious if many people have a certain preference for the batteries they use in their UTVs/Side by Sides? I need to replace one in the old mule and figured I would ask the GS. Thanks for the input.

Always had good luck with Walmart. All their batteries. Truck, boat, atv, motorcycle.

I'd recommend an AGM style battery, no water to keep full.

Walmart ! Don't get the motorcycle battery, get one for a riding lawn mower.

Odyssey and keep it on a battery tender. It will last a long time..

Don't have a clue what the OEM battery is in my Honda Pioneer 1000-5, but I've had it since mid-2016, and that sucker is still going strong... When It dies, I'll likely get another one just like it! I did order just today an isolator kit and second battery for it... Have learned that it is safer to run only factory options off the main battery and run everything else off the auxiliary battery because of an apparent danger of low voltage if the main battery is used to power too many accessories while driving/shifting the tranny... It is apparently electronically controlled and does not respond well with low voltage, thus the upgrade. For that, I ordered an Interstate AGM battery...

Battery tender is your friend on ATV's, mowers etc that don't get used all the time.
