Just heard it on the radio press conference that he let both of them go.

One other name I didn't recognize received a ban which sounded like a Pete Rose type ban.

They wont. This is a limited scope investigation and will go no further. The same thing was rumored to be going on with the Brewers and the Cubs. It's just like our current judicial system. One set of rules for the elites and another for the commoners.

Correct, Nolan was already set to step down when his contract ended in February but what happened with Reid just sped up his departure.

I totally agree with Crane's decision to let Hinch go. I heard Luhnow wasnt aware of the cheating so not sure why he is being crucified. Maybe once I get through the report it will say otherwise.

Crane is knee jerking to protect what he thinks is his brand.
Hinch maybe i get... luhnow mightve been a different conversation based on another plan.
I dont think the corp office was as happy a place as advertised after ryan was let go.. and big ryan left like he did. (Not that the fact he left..but how obvious it was he wasnt happy about **** going on)
Crane got more kids?
Expect him to start filling vacancies with relatives..

It's gonna be really interesting to see how the stros hitters are treated around the game by different pitchers. This won't be well received, but how would they decide how to send the message.

I don't think the product on the field will suffer much in the short term, honestly.

Look for a lot of swinging strike outs on sliders breaking off the plate by certain players this season.

Yes that is true but I still think there is one particular player who will see his numbers come down. Contract year no less. I hope Im wrong and he has matured as a hitter. This year will tell.

I know it...this part really sucks. They really didn't have to do it. I remembered that they were the best road team in baseball that year, but I didn't know that their record was BETTER on the road.

I understand why the Astros fired Hinch, so it irks me even more that the Texans hold onto Bill O'Brien who hasn't won anything!

And not a chance. The lineup is going to be deadly......again

Freaking cheaters. They need to put an asterisk in history books that they won in 2017 by cheating.

Easy there....you know what they say about glass houses.....Yankees have been mentioned in same sentence with cheating scandals. If you think for a second that the Astros are the only ones that cheated, you are sorely mistaken.

What the Astros did can ruin a pitchers career.

They need to forfeit the trophy.

Which is why I was a so disappointed the scope of the investigation wasnt broader. There were several other teams suspected but they are getting to walk on it. The Astros are the scapegoat of the cheating scandal. They get that wear that badge.
