Factory Ammo with primer backwards

First time I have seen this. I was shooting some bulk .223 Ammo and had a misfire. When I looked at the primer this is what I saw.

I've had that happen a time or two reloading but never with factory. The egg shape primer pocket just almost looks like surplus?

Had some factory 5.56 ammo last year, fresh out of the box, down side it was loaded with M855 and poked very nice little holes in the steel targets..

I have never seen anything like that before. But i did purchase a box of Remington corlok's that had one silver primer, the rest were normal copper color.

Probably not uncommon coming out of the machine. Just missed by quality control.

Could still probably get $5 for that round
