I received a tongue lashing (not in a good way) for being a slacker and not posting this earlier. Been a hectic year as it has for most people I assume.

So here’s to getting out of the grind and wetting a line, no matter the species. But we have a preference here obviously

I was on Richland Chambers Mon,and Tuesday.Warmest water I found was 53 degrees.Caught 3 bass in 2 days.Not my best effort,but was glad to be back on the water!

just getting back into fishing from a 4 year hiatus. Went to lake nac last saturday and caught a 7.62 felt good for my first time on that lake in almost 5 years

I need to install my replacement rocker switch panel in my skeeter. Fished a few tournys last year and the switches started acting up. Then rona hit and just lost interest. Bought the replacement panel just need to install it. First tourny is next weekend.

In! I'll have my line in the water for the first time this year on Saturday. It's been years since I've fished as much as I used to but now we have a little 27 acre lake across the street from the house and I have no excuses.

My uncle caught this one last Sunday at my favorite fishin' hole...

But it's a pond on his ranch, so it's like hunting a high fence place...

and we all know how folks on here think that's like not even fishing at all...

It's always catch and release unless we are moving them to another pond on his place...

Point being, don't hang a big fish by the lip like that, there is a great possibility you will harm the fish.

Question for you drop shot guys.Do you prefer a spinning rig,or bait caster? I've never done it,but after watching the guys on MLF catch the snot out of em;gonna give this rig a shot.

I don’t drop shot often but much prefer spinning gear. Only time I use a bait casting equipment is if I’m power shotting.

Spinning real, if the water is dirty you can get away with heavier line.

It was 6” long and that may be a generous estimate

First bass of the year. Hit a Red Bug Zoom worm in about 6 feet of water on a Texas rig about 200 yards from my back door on The upper end of Toledo Bend.

Played hooky from work and went to Sheldon, I think everybody had the same idea. What a zoo. I gotta find another place to bass fish, that was chaos.i thought I'd catch em today but I only got a couple small ones. It's Tuesday why aren't these people at work. Lol.

We wore them out this past weekend at the ranch. Well over 100 caught with a few over 6lbs. Lots in the 3-5lb range

It can be good. It is a rough area, I've never had any issues but some friends have. It gets so choked with grass it can be tough. Running a chatterbait over the top gets em pretty good. Flipping the edges is what I normally do and it usually works, not so much today. There's some big ones in there. I'm going back to the bayous for awhile.

My dad caught 2 10’s out of Sheldon Reservoir some years ago. We used to live on Garrett Rd just down from there. We fished it every day this time of year. Haven’t fished it since 1991 when I graduated high school. Some fond memories of that little honey hole!!
