Original 13 blinds have been in ground 2 seasons and work beautifully. If wind is fickle, we hunt with all windows closed and deer walk all around the blind without blowing us. Deer View windows open and close so quietly that we can open them to shoot or take pics, with deer at 15-20 yards.
Most recent blind I set, I changed door position by raising it up a foot. Makes it a little trickier to crawl down and into but I was able to bury blind 2 feet deep and lower overall profile a lot. It is really cool shooting at almost ground level and the stealth factor is awesome. This would only work in an arid part of the state. |

Windows are 8 x 16 inches. Use 3 to a blind.

Yes sir, there are too many good ideas and methods on this site to let all the old stuff fall off the map. I was thinking about some of my favorites the other night and sent a bunch of them to the top.

Those are some awesomes blinds and I really like how you dug them down a bit before setting them in place. I bet that is pretty cool shooting at almost ground level! Nice job.

You want a slick surface where the fiberglass epoxy won’t stick too the mold. I used plywood and covered it with plastic sheeting. If I hadn’t the epoxy seeps thru the fiberglass and glues it too the plywood. Far as glassing the cloth I believe that’s how Bodey did his, mine I just draped it over till I had full coverage and glassed it. Next ones I build I’ll cut the triangles out with a flap along one side and overlap them and twice layer the fiberglass Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Sum of interior angles = (n-2) x 180 degrees Each angle (of a regular polygon) = (n-2) x180 deg / 2 Example: Decagon 10 sides (10-2) x 180 deg 8 x 189 deg 1440 deg 1440 deg / 10 144 degrees per angle On our case with a hexagon the interior angle is: (6-2) x 180 = 720 / 6 = 120 degrees Due to only using half the interior angle one would divide 120/2 = 60 degree angle cut |

TN_Boy is correct, you cut the wall horizontals 60°, and one side of the vertical stud and the top of the top wall horizontal you rip 30° for them to go flush on the next wall and the roof on top.
