This is just my opinion so I could be completely wrong but.

What is the highest selling time of the year for bows? Right before hunting season. So if you have old stock wouldn't you try to sell it during the busy season and then release your new models when it slows down to generate an additional sales bump?

Seems to make sense to me.

Same thing for the brands like Bowtech waiting till the ATA show. That's the slow season so it is used to generate interest/sales.

dang is it already new bow season?

I never could understand why they do it after the hunting seasons start . . . . i realize the show but why not move it?
