    Older Diesel Trucks

Kicking around the idea of buying an older diesel truck for my son. What to look for (Ford, Chevy, Dodge, engine, year.)? Where if any is the best place to look?
Son rodeos and will be hauling horses. TIA.

Agree. Can't beat the LBZ model Duramax. I have had 2 LLY's, still have one, and they are not bad either. LBZ fixed some issues, one being overheating while pulling heavy loads.

I have an '06 LBZ that I purchased new. Not a single hiccup in 15 years and no DEF or DPF.

Agreed had a 2005 LLY , loved it , easy fuel filter change when I would get a bad load of fuel

Diesels are worth their weight in gold right now. Crazy prices out there. I second the LLY/LBZ Duramax Diesels
