Holster Shrinking

I have a 10mm Rock Island double stack.

My son gave me a holster that had held a 10 mm double stack Glock.

The Glock is bigger and my Rock Island is fitting loose.

If I soak the holster in water will it shrink?

What material?
Leather=yes
Nylon=yes

I have always had more trouble with my pistol shrinking!

while it might work,,, i would just buy a holster that is made to fit the pistol you have,,, the entire shape of the glock and 1911 are different,,,,

and most holsters, especially leather are already pre shrunk so they fit correctly
