    Old colt collector help

I have an old original colt 36 cal, I believe it’s a 1849 pocket pistol , with that said I am not well versed in these pistols. Serial # is 76xx 4 digit . All serial numbers match, Looking to get information to sell for my mother. Thank you. fate stay night unlimited blade works wallpaper

Starting to think it is the 1862 pocket police version

Sold one just like it on here a couple years ago—Humper helped me get it authenticated by a Colt professional

Personally, I would contact the Colt archives historian and request an authentication letter. It will add to the value . Cost is around $200-$300

Yes do this. It’s pretty fast usually. I think the last one I did was $150.

On another note. Why don’t you keep it? Would be extremely cool to have to pass down.

Belongs to my mother , my father left her a lot of guns, she needs the money for other things.
