Big win for Texas! Big loss for TCU. No surprise either way, will be interesting to see how this plays out. My money is on OSU or Texas.

We went to some Frawg games when Schloss was here, heís a hard ***, but he was cool with the kiddos when they got to get on the field to run bases. His teams were always fighters, and he never made excuses when they got beat.

Horns are off today but have the 9:30 am time slot tomorrow morning.

SEC still haven’t updated their schedule for the tournament today. Gators and Arky at 9:30 but the of the game times are TBD.

Ags will be the third game today in Hoover. First pitch will be dependent on how the first two shake out.

His roll in the bullpen is more important than a #3 or #4 starter in my opinion.

Nah. #1 Texas had the best 3 man rotation in the country. They are down 2 of those 3. That is not a positive. Plus he has struggled out of the pen as well.

That doesnít mean heís not more important out of the penÖhe is. Without him, that bullpen is really scary. Tanner Whitt really hurts nowÖ

Stevens out the pen could pay huge dividends (dude is good for 3-4 innings). Whitt was a huge loss, but Gordon was a good find when the wheels began to fall off. He secured that second started spot and has pitched really well.

I'd just assume not see Southard get marched out there and we cant get caught up in another Nixon deep thought where a runner steals home.

After watching Tennessee last night.......it is them, then everyone else. They are stacked from top to bottom. I am interested to see LSU play them this evening. I don't think it is going to end well for the Tigers. Stranger things have happened but they are a solid team all the way around.

Well I think LSU will start Floyd tonight and Tennessee will probably chase him out the game by the 2nd inning. He basically has a fast ball bc his off speed stuff has been bad for a while now. Tennessee will sit fast ball and smash him.

Yep. When they were 25-5 and next closest was 19-11 in conference, that tells you all you need to know.

Floyd will not last long but if we could get 2 innings out of him, I would be pumped. Those guys just don't miss fastballs. Vandy sure has had a rough last 4 games!

That's ok, you don't have to.

Stevens was able to finish Pete's gem on Wed, work out of a mess yesterday, and pitch the 9th. With the day off today, he'll be good for several innings tomorrow, and few on Sunday if needed. There is NO ONE else in that bullpen who can do that. I doubt they use him both of the next few days, but if this tourney was more important, they could. You don't need a 4th starter in the post season.

My wife and son are going out there today for Frawgs/Pokes. They were hoping to see the Horns, but such is life. He'll be wearing his 44 gear either way. We may run out there Sunday depending how our tournament, and theirs, go. She's already chirping about a trip to Austin with the chance to host looking a little better.
