They can make changes before a VIN is issued.

I’d be fine with that if my truck would just show up. I’m about to have to put some maintenance money in my current truck I was hoping to avoid. 15 wks and counting.

Just had the dealer submit an order for a 250 Plat. yesterday. Was told 6 months but not really in a hurry.

Nice! Did they send you an email or did you track your truck on their website? Reason I ask is they never sent an email stating mine went into production (where I also found my window sticker), I just happened to track my order mid-week last week and noticed it.

Same as you. No email, I just checked the tracker and saw the in production notice.

Hopefully it will get built and shipped soon. Trying to keep my current truck under 100k for the trade in, am sitting at almost 98k.

Doubt you will. Have been following a ford SD build forum thread and it looks like ford is catching up from reading posts on peoples production starting before the date they sent us in email. A couple weeks back the KY plant went to 24/7 production, so that should help.

I have been getting regular emails and updates. I am due to build next week right now. I have been following several forums and they have been building since last week with 3 shifts and OT. Before that they shut down one week. Hopefully they just don’t run out of parts again.

I have not gotten an email since build date was pushed to 3/28. Checked tracker today and showed in production with window sticker available. Bet you will be same soon.

Yes. You should receive an email from Ford. I had mine before I left the dealership.

I haven’t even received a day yet. Just the week of 3/28. Everyone in the past has said you get a sticker a week before your build. Hopefully soon.

On the page that says ‘In Production’ the link to my window sticker was near the bottom….don’t know if you’ve checked there yet.

My dealer must not have submitted the order right away because I got the confirmation email from Ford over a week later.

At this point all I have is that email and a dream.

Apparently they did remove the fifth wheel prep, however, after initially saying it was too late to change.

Gave them my DL and signed a buyers order form with a order number, order type, and body code. Also gave them a $500 deposit(with credit card) toward truck but haven't received any type of conformation yet. Hopefully ill get everything this morning. If not ill be calling to see what the deal is and/or canceling payment!

It could be your salesperson hasn’t went and input the ‘official’ order form. I received my email almost immediately after mine completed this.

Make sure he inputs it soon. They are cutting 2022 orders off 3/31. You may have a long wait. As of last week they had over 280,000 backlog orders on Super Duty trucks.

I'm in, following along now. Ordered an F350 last night. I was quoted 12-15 weeks but that is sounding optimistic. I skipped the factory 5th wheel prep, I was told 27+ weeks with that. Diesel, King Ranch so I could get LED lights.

Ha! You sound just like me, I checked it daily. My sales guy told me usually ~10 business days from start of production to built. I think mine ended up being 8 or 9 days.

Good luck and hope yours is finished up soon.

You got lucky. They ran out of windshield wiper motors last week. Got my window sticker on Friday. Mine is in production now. Heard they are fixing to shut down again due to a lack of no parts. Hope mine gets finished before then. Went into production 3/25.

Checked the as-built page and no pcm codes yet for my modules.

I wouldn’t get your hopes too high. That’s what mine said last week but it’s sitting in a rail yard in Illinois. Ours might be keeping each other company on the ride here. Have your dealer check the VVR.
