Anyone order an F250 lately?

My XL order goes in on Monday. Am told “about 2 months” so we will see if and how that changes. I don’t put too much stock in it.

10 is the highest priority and 19 or 20 is the lowest. I’m not sure if they can change that once the order is in. I got a 10 on the second truck I ordered and it was here in 10-12 weeks.

I order mine 11 weeks ago on Monday still no vin the dealer has called ford and even they don’t know why I don’t have a vin it shows to be good on their end it was originally a 19 but there two turned to a 10 for mine so we will see I do know that the gooseneck prep package and the spray in bed liner had to be removed cause those are things that are holding things up also

Just got my build date for February 28th. The way things are going I may drive it for a year and order a new one if they have a new model and used prices are still crazy.

I ordered my wife’s F250 and my F350 dually last year and it took about 8-10 weeks. I’ll never use anyone besides Auto Nation in Katy. All 3 trucks were way under MSRP.

I'll have my 2019 F350 for sale right before it comes in.

I ordered a F-350 SRW on 12/16/2021 and got my VIN # and a build date in the week of 3/14/2021. From some of the other forums I'm on it seems like a lot of people are being scheduled that week. Hopefully there are no delays, and it gets built on time.

My F250 order was placed 10/5 and I’m still waiting on a VIN. Was told 10 weeks when I placed the order. At this point I’m leaning towards buying another Tundra and just selling the F250 when I receive it. For what they are going for off the lot I should be able to turn a profit if they ever get around to building it.

I called my sales woman i thought about trading mine in and ordering she said don't do it. It could be up to a year to receive your truck. So as soon as I can order a 23 i will.

I ordered one yesterday. there was a lot of variation on delivery time the dealers i talked to told me. Some said 8-12 weeks, some said 3-6 months. We shall see. buying a truck is way different than pre covid. They sell for MSRP, so they can't hide what they will give for a trade in the deal anymore

My dealer ordered mine at invoice price, not MSRP. Times vary depending on packages and options you get. There are commodity issues. 5th wheel prep, bedliner, bed cover, adaptive cruise, and Tremor packages are taking up to 6 months.

I called my dealership yesterday about the noise when the truck downshifts. It’s from 4th to 3rd gear and kind of sounds like a grinding noise from the rear end. Ford is aware of the issue but they don’t have a solution.

Got my truck has been shipped email yesterday. Ordered 10/4/2021 so it's been a long wait but besides supply chain issues I heard Ford shut their assembly line down for 3 weeks in December.

I got 1% below dealer invoice so I'll let you know in 10 days or so if the dealership honors that or tries to screw me over.

Mine is a 2022 6.7 diesel, CC lariat ultimate in Antimatter blue with tremor package, 5th wheel prep, bedliner, moonroof, etc.

I agree on the ammo part. Not really sold on gold argument unless you mean that white gold that comes on a roll called toilet paper and that edible gold you find in gardens. Lol

Just curious with my questions here. I didn’t sell my truck before leaving the states, as ai wasn’t sure if the market would fix itself before I return in August time frame.

I paid 23% under MSRP for my 2019 F150. How does a couple percent off invoice stack up compared to that? I don’t know where invoice comes in compared to MSRP.

Wondering if it might be beneficial to me to order a new truck, wait for it to come in and then sell my current truck. Before I left I was offered $4k less than I paid for the truck, but decided not to sell it due to current life events. Of purse if the bottom falls out and used trucks are no longer pulling what they currently are, it doesn’t work out so much in my favor.

Crazy. My first build date was 3/14 and also pushed to 3/21. This weeks email had me back at 3/14.

I knew the f150 market wasn’t hurting as bad as the super duty market, and it seems in the last 3 months it may have gotten a lot better.

We order close to the same truck mines a f350 no sunroof or tremor pack or Berliner or gooseneck heard they were holding things up so I will add those everything else is the same
