My wife steered me on to Yoga with Adriene out of Austin on YouTube. I do not feel as guilty spending time with Adriene since my wife suggested it.

I finished off the week with giant sets for chest biceps and triceps today. I missed one day this week so I had to make it up. 4X10. I'm glad the weekend is here!

Incline bench press on smith machine/overhead rope extension/preacher curl/incline sit up
Incline bench on smith one notch lower/cable pushdown/BB curl/hanging leg raise
Flat bench press on smith/skull crusher/arm blaster curl
DB fly/overhead cable curl/bilateral kickbacks

Mind if I join in.
Started working out with the Mrs. I've managed five weeks without missing a day yet (weekdays). I haven't seriously worked out in 15 years.
Looking for some tips/pointers.
Right now we have a basic bench, dumbbells up to 40lbs, kettle bells, big rope and treadmill (which I can't run on, but can walk, belt slips if I try running).

Needing some workout ideas for what I have.

Was up at 415 but to study from a sUAV certification test this morning. Tired but made it in for Arms at lunch. Tomorrow might be shoulders or another terrible crossfit like class lol

If you simply want a lifting program to follow, pm me an email address and I値l send you one I really like. Whenever I restart from an off period it is the one I always fall back to. I just started it again 2weeks ago after being out for several months due to a hand injury and subsequent surgery.

Well did a “semi Murph” today. No vest and had to do 40’ assisted pull ups but got it done in 61mins flat.

Future goals include to be able to do a Murph (no vest or assisted pull ups) on Veterans Day and then next year be able to do the whole shabang under 1hr vest and all.

I almost chickened out today since I knew I couldn’t do 100 true pull ups but figured I have to start somewhere.

I took off Friday ahead of the long weekend. My wife and I made the gym early as usual and I hit chest, back and arms since I missed the day before. I tore my arse up!!! But it was goooooood!

I'll be in SA for the TDEM conference all week and will miss every day beginning Tuesday. I made it in this morning and knocked out chest and arms. 5X5 on chest and 5X8-10 on Biceps and triceps.

Bench press/preacher curl/cable pushdown pronated and supinated
Incline bench press/hammer curl over preacher bench/overhead rope extension
Pec deck/single arm cable pulldown/arm blaster curls

I used the gym at the office today for cardio, 10 min on treadmill, 10 min on fan bike, 10 on rower. Pushing hard on all of them. Minimum break between.
The did leg presses. 25 reps @ 90 lbs, 20@180, 15 @270, 10 @320.
Legs were pretty noodly after bike and rower.

Averaging about 16 miles per ride. Riding at least 4 or 5 days a week, even in the rain. It has actually been therapeutic also. Feel guilty when i miss multiple days in row.

I started Mtn Ops 90 Day Elk Prep course yesterday. I thought this doesn't look very hard, but my legs are feeling it today.

Morning
2 mile walk
20 minutes of Yoga

Evening
Mtn Ops Workout
10 minutes on Peloton

Pre-workout. I use a couple cups of coffee- I caffeine pill- and eat a couple of
Beet chewables.

Keep up the work guys. As always I make it 4-7 times a week. More when the wind is blowing because can’t fish

Man I miss the dry sauna from when I was a member at lifetime fitness. What a perfect way to end every workout. I heard from a lifetime trainer they have bought land in Fulshear so hopefully I値l have one near me in a year or two.

I知 taking 200mg of caffeine before going to the gym. Endurance wise I have zero problems getting through my workouts but I知 dragging some afternoons. I致e held back trying more because I知 afraid it will jack with my sleep.

I'm taking PreJym X which has 300 mg/scoop and I use 1 scoop. Old habits die hard, but I still drink 2 cups of coffee before gym. That's y caffeine intake for the entire day. I can usually power through a hard workout, but by 2-3 PM, I start dragging a little. I sleep pretty well for the most part, but when I don't it really sucks.

Well, I got to bed late by about 2 hours therefore I didn't get to sleep as long as I wanted, but what I got was pretty good. I did some giant sets today to make up for missing yesterday. Back, shoulders and legs 3x10-12.

I skipped Friday and slept in. This heat is draining me. I've had heat exhaustion several years ago and now heat just kicks my arse. All weekend long I've felt run down. Took a nap Friday afternoon and yesterday as well. That seemed to help a little as I felt pretty strong in the gym this morning. I hit chest and biceps pretty hard with 3x10-12 increasing the weight by 10% each set.

Incline DB bench press/preacher curl
Incline DB bench press one notch lower/BB curl
DB bench press/arm blaster curls
Incline DB fly each setting to flat/overhead cable curls

Shoulders and legs are on the menu for tomorrow.

I guess missing several days last week and basically recovering for awhile has done me some good cuz I've felt strong AF the last two days. Hitting the bed at 830 last night and sleeping all night was awesome! That doesn't happen often at my age. LOL!

Back and legs today. Supersets 4X10 on the heavy side and slowing the reps waaaaaay down.

Bilateral lat pull down/sled leg press/incline sit up
Bent over BB row inverse grip/leg extension/ab roller
Belt squat/low row/cable rotation
Bodyweight pull up/hip abduction machine

Chest and shoulders for tomorrow
