Don't know if it's already been said but Opie's in Spicewood is by far the best BBQ I've ever had but what do I know, I'm just a young buck (4 point)

You are correct. I might have believed you if you were an internet Pope and Young.

He has been drunk off his a** a bunch and said some mighty rude stuff to a bunch of people, I would rather skip 300 to drive out of my way
Over to Opie’s , some times it’s not the bbq that leaves a bad taste in your mouth

I'm a fan of the east Texas Que. Really like Country Tavern's ribs and potato casserole. Stanley's in Tyler for brisket, also really like Stanley's Cadillac Clucker sandwich. Since relocating to DFW I've been to a couple good spots, my favorite is probably Heim BBQ on Magnolia but you end up paying those hipster prices. Been to Hard 8 several times trying to force myself to like it but just haven't been able to get hooked.

Since you're in Roanoke, ease on up to 407 BBQ. @ 35 & 407, SE corner, by Defender Outdoors. It has it.
