    Meat tenderizer

Does anyone use this type of tenderizer? Does it work good?

If I was doing a ton of steaks I would consider getting one, but just one deer at a time I'm using the needle style. If I want them thin for chicken fry I will hit it with the needle tool and then smash it with the steak hammer.

I do and it works great. I send the steaks through 2x to make the checker board pattern. Mine also has the jerky slicer. Got it from Academy.

Great tool to have around use it all year round. Have that type as an attachment to the grinder. It works great. I use it for pork cutlets, chicken fried steak and to tenderize chicken breast.

That’s what I was looking for but don’t see one for the MEAT brand grinder.

I have that one, Works Great.
As said above I run them through twice
Once in one direction, turn meat 90 Degrees
              drop it through again.

I had a Hobart tenderizer that I sold a few years ago because I just did not use it enough. I bought one of these meat 10derizer knives and it does a great job for what I need it for.

Ditto on the checker board pattern and jerky slicer blades but mine came from Cabela’s.

Go ahead and get the motor attachment that goes with it. You will love it that much more.

WHAT!!!! I looked for that and never saw one. Is it separate and attaches to it or is it all one piece?
