So my 9 year old son Augie has tagged along for many hunts over the last several years to watch his big brothers put meat in the freezer. This year he was up to bat. Saturday evening we seen some deer moving but the does were acting funny and the bucks were pushing so we were never given a comfortable opportunity. Until right as the sun was disappearing a big Boar hog creeps in and heads to the feeder. Augie put one right in the ear hole as instructed and dropped that hog like a sack of potatoes. Pumped up and now the cool kid on the block we hit a stand the next morning to see what we could do. Once again the bucks were up and moving and after several close opportunities we finally had a spiked buck walk in and give us enough time and opportunity to take the shot and Augie piled him up right through the front shoulder. You couldn't whip the grin off Augies face with a weedeater and now he is the man!
