Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor killed this goat at 782 with it.

It depends on what you plan to hunt with it. Appears that you already have two excellent calibers for deer.

                .25-06 would complete the set.

                22-250, 30-30, .243, 6mm, 257 Bob, 250-3000,
Or AR calibers 5.56, 6.5 Grendel, 458 SOCOM

243 all day. Best truck gun I ever built. Wide Wide range of bullet options from 53 grains going 3,950 fps, 95 grain at 3,150 fps or can jump up to a 120 grain. Shot many coyotes at 300-400 yards with mine. i like the 75 grain @3,550 fps. With the bullet options, you're really getting several guns in 1. That's what persuaded me to go with 243 over the 22-250.

There is a feller on here that has a Browning 22 for sale, seems like that $500 will cover it. I wanted it, but bought a different Browning.

Tikka T1x 22 rimfire bolt with a 4x24x50 mm scope.

Everyone should have an affordable, highly accurate squirrel gun.

Affordable to shoot at the range for fun

Serious enough to shoot highly accurate out to 300 yards - and still pull hunting duties on small game. Serious squirrel gun.

                                I just did it.
