You are correct. Same process as the President or any other Federal official for that matter. Simple majority vote in the house, Senate takes up the hearing, and then removed.

Actually Roberts became Chief Justice by basically being in the right place at the right time (or wrong time depending on your belief of what the court should be). He was already in the approval process for O'Conner's spot when Rehnquist died. Since he was already in the pipeline, that pillar of conservatism George W Bush, changed the position he was nominated for to fill the CJ spot. Roberts had never run any type of court to justify the CJ position but the lack of qualifications wasn't an issue for GW and that's how we ended up with that clown in charge of the most important institution in our government.

They have time. Electoral college doesn't meet for a while and even after they do, those votes get sealed until Jan 5th I believe. Nothing is official before that regardless of what anyone tells you.

However, it’s obvious that there is an assault on our constitution. This is just one example that we can site. It was a slam dunk decision, and should have been 9-0 if 3 of the justices weren’t liberal activists and 1 a compromised “constitutionalist”.

I would hope that even you could agree that you can’t limit someone’s ability to worship and assemble. It’s pretty black and white and our most basic constitutional right.

He legislated from the bench.
Said the penalty for mandate was a tax.
