Nephew just got his associates and is an aspiring waterfowler. Got him a hunt this Saturday with SoTexOutdoors out of Poteet. Of course I'm going to join him

Dang wind! No go for me this am. Can't hit a lake in 15-20mph wind in the boat. Not that mad at them anymore. Wish I had some tanks lined up.

Done for the day. Got 4 limits this morning. It’s been a good start to the season.

36 Saturday & Sunday. 30 yesterday and 24 this morning. Done in 30 minutes or so every morning with good ducks.

Need more rain and colder weather! Supposed to get some good rain tonight & next week the cooler weather will start to come in.

Went out with canoe this morning and it was a show. We had lots of birds flying but weren’t in the right area. He suggested several moves and got us on the birds. Great hunt and a great guy to hunt with. Looking forward to the next one with him.

What kind of boat you got?

Head to Choke for the first time Friday morning. Have some areas of interest on the map and plan on getting there real early. Need a bit of time just in case I can’t find open water!

2 ducks Monday. One pintail and 1 mottled. Luckily my dad was able to shoot because I couldn’t hit a duck even if it had landed at the tip of my barrel.

I did a thing. My duck gun is my second best looking Shotgun and I just couldn't bear to put it through a waterfowler's life. Now I have one that won't hurt me if I mess it up lol

I love my m3000, I opted for the black version then went and had it dipped and cerakoted to my liking. Great guns for a great price

Break in says to shoot Atleast 100 rounds of high power loads. I took mine out for the first time on a duck hunt shooting 1 1/4 ounce 3 shot and it worked perfect.

I went yesterday. Had 4 in the boat by 7:15. 5th at 8:15. Then after missing two more, it was 11:00 when I got the final bird. I passed on the first two birds in the set, teal. Almost wished I had taken them. But glad I didn't. Finished the morning in north central Texas with 2 redheads, 2 baldies, pintail, and a gaddy. Missed three birds total.

I'll be out again in the morning. And prob Sunday too.
