Scrap the rice and add ketchup n tartar sauce with a dash of Tabasco!

Seriously, that looks dang good just like it is... You might add a cream sauce with lump crab meat and capers... Love that on any broiled/grilled/baked fish.

Just hang out... maybe Cajun Blake will chime in! If not, PM him and get his recipes... He's the Master of Cajun seafood recipes!
The cream sauce is a heavy cream based sauce (Bearnaise style) and the Pontchartrain sauce is more of a tomato/mushroom sauce (red sauce). Both are good and probably my two favorites!

Just do an internet search for either and you'll get many good recipe recommendations!

I am self quarantining at the rancho, day number six. Just put some pork ribs in the oven to bake for a couple hours. Don't know how long the food is going to hold out with replenishing. Now its back to work.

My wife hates it but I donít have a lot of actual recipes I follow. This one took about 5 fails before finally getting it good, and there is room to improve.

Mix the below together and put it in with venison, sliced thin turns out best
1 packet Kikoman beef and broccoli seasoning
Garlic powder or smashed up garlic cloves
1 cup beef stock
1/3 cup low sodium shoyu (soy sauce)
Maybe 1-2 table spoons brown sugar
Cayenne or smoked paprika to taste
1 tablespoon ginger

Throw that in the crockpot on low for about 45min, then add you cut up broccoli. Iíve learned I need to cut it smaller. Usually use about 4-5 crowns. Cook another hour on low

A lot of the recipes that call for beef say to go for 4-6 hours on low and Iíve found with venison it dries it out way too much. Itís best if you slice it thin like the beef youíd get at a Chinese food place so it canít cook that long

I am smoking a brisket today, will be making potato salad, also will be making a slow cooker stew, to put in containers and freeze. I am heading to my deer lease tomorrow so I have to cook up a bunch to take with me. No running into Sanderson to eat lunch.

Sautťed mushrooms and jalapeŮos with 1 tablespoon of minced garlic.
Mix it with softened cream cheese.
Butterfly a blackstrap or two and stuff the mixture in there, then season to taste with whatever you want. ( cumin, cavenderís and Montreal is what I used here.)
Squeeze some lime juice over the meat, wrap that sucker in bacon and hot smoke for roughly 20 minutes or longer if you donít like medium rare. (5 minutes per 4 sides)
I use a charbroil infrared 3 in 1 smoker with apple and pecan wood in the woodchip tray. That sucker gets hot enough to sear like a grill would but also puts off lots of smoke.
Whenever I say delicious, I mean absolutely ducking awesome!
