Anyone hunt around Utopia?

Sat all day today in Tarpley today. Saw a stud right before shooting light but hardly any morning movement. Evening had a young 2 year old buck chasing a doe hard. Nothing from the older bucks.

I'm headed back to utopia on the 4/5 of Dec. hoping the bigger boys are chasing by then.

Anyone been back out? I was supposed to leave Sunday, but my oldest got invited to tryouts for a new select team, and he wants me to be there with him. Two workouts next Mon/Tues and tryouts Thursday.

With all the pictures i'm getting on camera, i'm thinking pre rut/start of rut. bucks have been hitting my feeders hard!

I’ll be back at it Monday. A few of the mature bucks are starting to hang with the does. Getting lots of scrape activity right now.

Was out last week about 10 miles out of Utopia and a few bucks were squaring off and chasing does.
