No dove hunting for me unfortunately. Recovering from open shoulder surgery from three weeks ago.
I’m just hoping to be recoverd enough for bow season.

      4 units here now.
They even went down and photographed the dog.
Just found out this isn't the first time he's been involved with leaving dead animals.
Definitely gonna be some sss(say something sweet) if nothing gets done.
He's also been suspect in some arson cases, and cop said we might should insure the place, in case he burns it down .
Hell of a way to start a dove opener.
Sounds like he didn't get smoked in the gourd with that pipe hard enough. What a psycho.

It’s hard to pick a favorite.

        Pronghorn 🤔
        Dove
        MLD Deer 🤔
        Duck 🤔 naw
        Mule deer

It's definitely one of my favorite things to do. It's hard to beat a good dove shoot. Especially if you can get some Eurasian doves mixed in there as bonus birds.

I really like the winter dove opening
As a kid I did a Texas slam hunting and killing on same hunt
Dove , quail, ducks, deer, javalina , feral hog , and a goose.

It helps when you have the encino division of the king ranch

All I need is a beak, and two wings...Juvies, mature, mournings, whitewings, ringers, whatever.... hot or cold...makes me no difference. They all puff the same..

Not going again this year. Just not going to pay what people are asking for on opening weekend.
Instead, I’m at the lease getting my bow stands set up, getting shooting lanes cleared and cleaning up some trails.
                              Come on October!!!
