I’ve been off the grid for a few months. Life has gotten pretty busy. Just wanted to share a few fishing pics from Rayburn, Amistad, and Palestine from over the last few months. Rayburn has been interesting with all the rising and falling water. Catching fish hasn’t been a problem, but catching 5 big ones has been tough. Most of the tournaments are being won by someone with a decent limit and 1 big one. The water has finally stabilized and fishing should be getting back to normal soon. Contrary to a lot of common thought there’s still a large population of bass that haven’t spawned yet. Over the next month things will start to settle into the post spawn/ early summer patterns. As of a week ago I was still catching a lot of fish on the 3/4oz black and blue 6th Sense Hybrid Jig with a V&M Wild Craw trailer. Flipping shoreline wood and sight fishing. The hydrilla is starting to come back a little in the lower to mid lake region. The off shore cranking should start really popping in the next week or two and you’ll start to see big limits coming to the scales. Hope everyone had a great Easter!
