Kansas Snow Buck Down

I’ve always dreamed of killing a buck in the snow and got it done this morning. This morning around 8 I saw a buck chasing a doe in the woods about 80 yards away and pulled out my grunt call. Not sure how much of a role it played but shortly after he chased her right by my tree.

I gave him a mouth grunt at 30 yards to get him to stop and sent a rage trypan his way. Great double lung shot, best blood trail I have seen. He went 50 yards and died in a creek. All day sits in 11 degree weather and got lucky day 3.

Great shot. I have only arrowed one in the snow and Ray Charles could find it under those conditions. Congrats.
