God bless you brother. There are some really fine people on this site that I know would be more than willing to lend a hand....or just an ear. Please please I urge you to stick with it young man.
As a father of a son who struggled with addiction, eventually losing the battle, I pray you make the choice to fight it. Life is worth it my friend.

Iím only a PM away if you need to talk. You have to figure out ďwhyĒ youíre drinking to excess. Once I did that, it became much easier to stop. I was not someone who could have a couple of beers at night. Not even close. Good luck to you.

Year 9 in the books. God is great. Life works way easier for me these days. My drinking days seem like a 100 years ago, but vigilance is the key. I am still ashamed of some of the things I did and people I hurt back then, but all I can do is keep living my best life now. A lot of people have forgiven long ago, and it's finally time to forgive myself. I am not that man anymore.

Says a lot this is your biggest regret.

I unfortunately had a front row seat to see people drink themselves to death, and it is much worse. This is a teachable moment, good for you to reach out to the TBH family as well as your own. Dont be ashamed of who you were, be proud of how much you have grown!

Bumping back to the top for year 10. Seems like another lifetime when I was a prisoner to alcohol. Life's good, still have problems, but now they are dealt with and not pushed down.
I thank God everyday that I'm no longer that person. If I'd have continued that behavior I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be here. If anyone ever needs to talk, I'm here.

I did it to possibly help someone in the same place I was. Rehab/therapy really opened my eyes to addiction. Itís all the same, people just get addicted to different things, the thought process is the same.

Another great testimony. Nice job.
28 years ago come August at a rehab facility I hit my knees and asked God to remove the oppression of addiction from me. Every day I still celebrate that supernatural healing I received that day.
