Schott’s Meat Market 12227 Culebra Rd on the far west side of SA, they are one of the best!
Been using him since he originally opened for business.
Heard good things about Primos in Hondo and Klein’s in Boerne has done good processing for me too.

Schotts does outstanding dried sausage! I’d give anything to have some right now!

Looks like it is fixing to be. Game warden told me that they are considering everything in there unfit for human consumption.

I took 4 deer to a deer processor in Poteet and he stood me up 4 times to pick it up (I live in Midland, 5 hours away). Biggest mistake was that I paid the whole balance of $1,185 this week and I have heard that they have shut him down and game wardens have had to go in and close it there were over 20 rotting carcasses in the cooler that wasn't cold enough. Anyone heard about this? What is the best place to take deer around San Antonio I want some different sausage and deer sticks than I usually get made.

“For those folks that had deer in the facility for processing, if there is any money to be refunded it will be refunded once the legalities are worked through," he said. "For those folks that had taxidermy work in the facility the work will still be completed as agreed upon unless the customer opts to not have us do the work."
