NE Runnels county and we saw maybe 6 birds. Neighbors either did pretty well or shot a crap load of shells at a couple birds!!!!

Had a couple of friends down this weekend to hunt pigs. Didn’t have any luck, but they did see a few from a distance, as well as a couple of deer.
We fed them good!
Bucks are settling into their Fall ranges, and we’re beginning to see a couple of new bucks hanging around the feeders.
Planted our food plots last weekend, and praying for rain now. 10 day forecast doesn’t look promising, but you never know.

I am new to the area this year. Will be hunting SW Coleman County near Ivie. Been running cameras and corn for about 2 months.
Lots of does but only have 1 mature buck that sporadically shows up. I have had an occasional axis though. Hoping more bucks start to appear.Comment
