Same deer? 2018-2021

Wanting to get input to see what the GS says… believe it’s the same deer judging by the cut in the bottom part of his right ear. But I’m torn because it looks like he went down from 2018-2019, then jumped back up in 2020.
Hasn’t really grown much over the last year. Watched him a bunch last year and he was limping pretty bad

If I had to guess, the deer in the top picture is not the same deer as the rest of the pictures.

It is possible based on the notched ear. He looks pretty mature in the first pic and they can start to go down when post mature and suddenly jump up a notch or two.

Brow tines very seldom change on a buck that’s one thing to look at on him . That being said I think it is the same buck

I do think he is that that old. I have posted several threads over the years about a deer that just started looking young again when really old.

I agree with this. I could show you a buck from 3 years ago that was a decent ten, to this year he looks 1.5 years old and gotten worse each year. I bet hes 245 years old. He's ancient

I always wondered where our good bucks went.. We are blessed to be surrounded by large tracts with very little hunting pressure.. Guess these fellas are just getting old and dying
