He’s been gone 3 months till last night and finally back home.
We are headed in toMorrow morning after this guy!

Last year he was really regular during the evening late season. If we don’t get him in the morning, I bet she kills him come youth season as I leave out tomorrow for my 2 weeks in Oklahoma.
I’m closer to his bedding area now and have better access to and from.

He just left 30 min. ago.
Doubtful he will return but we are going to sneak in and give it a shot.
I’m thinking he will have to be killed on an evening hunt.

Seasons almost here, back yard honey hole has been covered up all summer with two bach. groups devouring protein. Last one peeled velvet off on the 16th.
Brushed in my pop up a few weeks ago and cleaned it out. Cleared my access trail, pulled the protein feeder and started a corn pile.
Going to keep this thread going for this season.
Haven’t seen any notable bucks from last year which is kinda odd but a few new ones are looking like they may call this place home. Plenty more will show up over the next month or two.
My first hunt will be the evening of October 3rd if there’s a shooter around still.
