    New Bow after 7 years

After shooting the 2013 Elite Hunter for 7 years, I bought a new to me bow from a TBHer. I bought it mostly bare and had it rigged out at Texas Archery this morning. It's a Mathews Triax (my first Mathews) set at 29" ( plus 1/2" D-Loop) @ 70lbs. I put a CBE Engage Micro Sight on it with a CBE 7" stabilizer. He left the QAD rest on it which will stay for now. I also picked up a Scott Ghost release and retired the Little Goose after 14 years. I loved my Elite but this Triax is a heck of a lot faster. The draw cycle is more harsh. I still have to get her dialed in to see if I shoot it as well being so short axle to axle. The Elite is getting passed down to my Son-in-law who wants to learn how to bowhunt when he gets out of the Marine Corp in July.

I love my Triax. The shorter axle to axle did not bother me. It is a hog killing machine.
