Johnny "Lam" Jones - Going from last to first in the 4x4 at the state track meet. Many say it was the single most impressive High School event in history.He also won an Olympic Gold on the 4x100m Relay that Summer.

Being at the Frisco Bowl on the SMU side cheering on La Tech as Tech destroyed SMU 51-10. Tickets were the best Christmas gift ever. Had lots of room on the SMU side after halftime.
