    Coleman County mess

3-4” of very wet heavy snow. My bride and I came down for the long weekend. Got about 1/3” of ice yesterday and lost power about dinner time. Ate tepid taco soup and played Uno by the light of a lantern for NYE, then froze all night!

Roads are muddy mess and we have tree branches down and blocking every drive path on our ranch. Was going to call totes tonight and use my new NV scope, but pretty sure I’d get stuck.

Managed to catch this girl in a sounder feeding in a creek yesterday. Wet leaves sure made it easier to spot and stalk her. 62gr of .223 to the noggin

        Congrats on the sow.

We’re in the panhandle, needing to get back to Austin.
        We go thru Coleman.
        How are the roads?

One of my families favorite memories is playing monopoly under a lantern at the lease.

I’m here also. The paved roads are not a problem at all. Caliche county roads, not so good.

Everything is melting fast. Paved roads are wet but should be clear. Unpacked roads are another story.

Brown county had 2” rain then 4-5” of dry snow
Lots of limbs down, but Generac still running 20 hours later for the whole house.
Too much company to hunt, but coyotes were really howling last night

                    BP
