Not scared to spend some $$$ if necessary to get a good one.
I've seen your money brother buy the best and be done with it - RRS

I usually agree with Blake. But RRS is so overpriced it’s stupid lol. It’s top notch gear but man they are twice what everyone else is.

Maybe Blake went all in and knows it’s worth it haha

This is what we bought for a fixed shooting position from the ranch house. It's awesome for setting up on the porch over a feeder, we would put the gun in it and leave it til something came to the feeder. I've still got one of them, but no place to use it now.

Freehand for me, sticks just get in the way. Killed 31 the other night with no problem

Please buy yourself a Kopjager Reaper Grip and SLIK 700 tripod for $400.

Best investment I have made for night pig hunting

                      The answer is, "It depends."

If you're going to be traipsing around a couple miles per night, I can tell you right now you're gonna want something super lightweight, like the Primos Hunting Trigger Stick Gen 3 Jim Shockey Tall Tripod.

If you're driving around in a truck or SxS with the tripod tossed in the bed, I agree with the Big Nig: get the Kopfjager and Slik AMT 700.

Returning my leofoto LS324C and lh40. Bought a leofoto LN364C and an LH-55 head.

The 324 was super nice. So was the lh40. The tripod was a touch short. I decided to upgrade to the bigger head while I was at it haha

RRS is excellent. Durable and steady. Worth the money if you use your rifle/glass off a tripod more than a few times a year.
