Title: Security Operations Manager (OM)
Location: Will oversee Austin, DFW, Lubbock, and Midland/Odessa Markets
Salary: $65-70K + bonus

This position is for our Northern Texas market including but not limited to Dallas-Fort Worth, Lubbock, Midland, Austin and other cities. Travel will be required between these cities, and also to our home office in Austin.

The Operations Manager is responsible for but not limited to:
Effectively setting out goals and objectives for your team, including those for supervisory roles that may fall under your reporting line and structure
Driving employee engagement through personal interaction and engagement with your team in order to develop and coach them in their duties and responsibilities
Managing your area of responsibility, including providing support for your managers by making sure staffing is being addressed, payroll is done correctly and on time, and any progressive discipline is done correctly and properly documented.
Creating a strong working relationship with clients
Strong team building as you will work with the National Support office to include, but not limited to; Human Resources, payroll, training, and recruiting teams.
Managing contractual budgets in line with financial targets
Developing professional internal and external customer relationships, responding appropriately and timely to requests and concerns
Completing effective health & safety assessments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of any incidents, involvement in subsequent investigations, and providing input into health & safety.
Managers require strong leadership abilities because they oversee all security and public safety personnel for an organization
Analytic skills and problem-solving abilities are necessary because security operations managers must evaluate existing security and safety protocols and work to improve efficiency by analyzing and implementing emergent procedures.
Security managers need to be able to prioritize tasks because they are directly responsible for the day-to-day oversight of safety and security for the organization as well as coordination for special events and managing emergency preparedness procedures in their regions.
Qualifications
Verifiable experience in upper management leading persons in a fast-paced environment.
Business management skills
Excellent internal and external customer service skills
Problem solver
Experience with mentoring and training staff
Knowledge of risk management
Experience with implementing progressive discipline if needed
Skill with Microsoft Office
Able to track contracts, staffing levels, costs, payroll, training, etc.
Strong time management and prioritization skills
A basic understanding of security is a plus, but not mandatory
Approachable, understanding, willing to not make quick judgments
4 year degree in management or a related field is a plus
This position is Salaried Full-Time and schedules will vary.
