    Whitetail Hunting with A twist

Hit the woods at 5am this morning to bow hunt.

Much to my surprise a tree had fallen on my two man ladder stand that crushed/ twisted it half around the tree. (Plan B spot)

No worries I move to my (Plan A spot) 60yds away. A tree fell on that spot also!?

Tethrd saddle for the win! (Plan C spot)

I’ve always thought it would suck to be tied off to a tree that falls. Luckily these North Texas storms missed me.

Has this everyone happened to anyone?

    Long live the Whitetail dream!

Had a similar thing happen to one of my ladder stands--bent the angle enough that you feel like you are leaned back about 30-40 degrees and uncomfortable. Need to take the stand down and figure a way to "unbend" it.

Had a huge tree fall and flatten a groundblind once in OK. Would've killed any occupants!

Dang that is some bad luck!! A tornado went through my place in Oklahoma. Luckily though none of my spots were affected.

              Always adapt!

What’s the prussic knot on the tether for, with a ropeman?
