Yep! That was the place where you waited at a trough and the food came by on a big revolving wheel wasn't it?

How about the Jackson Hole off first street in Humble. Hand down the best chicken fried steak ever.

Yep, ate there all the time when I was young. Even took my son there for lunch a few times.

In the '60s, Mr. Bailey had a burger place on Irvington.

Just south of the Irvington Drive-in Theater.

We hit the MH in JerseyVillage off of 290 quite often, the candy & Queso were the best.....It was either there or Pancho's on 1960... I was more of a MH fan but Pops loved him some Panchos.... & believe me he got his moneys worth, he wore out a few of them lil flags

Wish there was still Montery House around.

Since we are talking about all the old eateries in Aldine.....

Remember Lia's drive in right there on Homestead by Greens bayou? My Grandmother used to take us there for cheeseburgers, shakes and onion rings.

Lia's had good shrimp. We used to eat there during work. Someone up above said they closed down. Been there forever.

I had forgotten all about the candy in the chips. We would eat there after church on sundays. I think its still located on 11th street in Beaumont.
