Took a break from hunting and went sledding in the feed bunk. Pulled the kiddos around in the feed bunk behind the sixwheeler then kiddo nappy time for Daddy to slip back out.

Changed spots and vanilla corned. Deer came in 5 minutes after legal shooting.

I discharged my 54cal Lyman from 20 yd offhand and knocked my plate off but didnt punch through.

Calling you out Chew. That is in Missouri not Houston. That street sign is Missouri's naming system and even the photo tag says it's rural Missouri.

Hwy 149 in SHNF was a cluster. Tried getting home early from a birthday shindig. 35 mph all the way home from Magnolia to Huntsville.

Our private rd here in Huntsville,

Little more than ankle deep here at the house

Man I'm glad we left our place toward Crockett when we did. It snowed for about an hour then rain melted it.

We closed the gate at 1 and headed back. Looks like the cluster started around 2

Officially, we got 7" in Milam County, which is between Waco and Houston, about half way. Just north of Bryan, College Station.

My feet.

These evergreens are 12 feet tall.

It stopped snowing just before sunset so this is from this morning.

This was taken about 2 hours after it started snowing. My puppy loves the snow and played in it like a 10 year old boy. Couldn't get enough.

After all of that, he was perfectly happy to warm up on the hearth.

I worked all day yesterday so I was unable to get pics at the house. I did get one this morning before it melted. Wish I had been able to take a pic of the house when the snow was fresh.
Pigs came out for a bite before it got dark.
