Yeah, gonna get real very soon. Been hearing of most all service crews and exploration side started moving everything out of the North due to Biden restrictions on public lands. Being Texas is mostly private, its fixing to get busy. Feel bad for everybody up north, Eagleford is on track to loose another 10% first half of this year just due to wells maturing. Demand will come back and we will not be in the position to plug the hole due to lack of inventory to keep up with demand, I see $100+ easily in the future.

Halliburton, Exxon Mobil, and find a sleeper small company with tons of capital or leases poised and ready to go. All companies should currently be raising capital.

Supply and demand. 90% of the operators aren’t drilling right now, so naturally the price is going to tic up a bit. Once the number of wells go back up, that supply will go right back to where it was. I wouldn’t rush out and buy those drawers just yet. It’s gonna be a while and the biden klan will attempt to stop all domestic drilling, so expect foreign oil imports to increase and gas prices to skyrocket. It’s their plan, they want you jobless, penny less and homeless.

Depends on obligation to develop and that operators costs/budget.

Yep, my little company does well when deep water does well... That hasn't happened since Maconda and Obama shut down the GoM to deep water drilling and all the drill ships hauled *** to South America... Those things don't just stop and turn around and come runnin' back...

Need it to keep rising, but also need more travel to start happening, or anything to deplete supplies.

Unfortunately, I'm doing exactly that.. On the rig in the GOM now but next hitch will be in Las Palmas for some shipyard time followed by a three year contract off of Senegal.

Sitting at $53.50 and steady rising. $70 oil can't come fast enough for me. I've had some really great calls this week and I am feeling hopeful for the first time in a nearly a year. Yesterday I told the wife she could put the Amazon app back on her phone.

Drilled a couple wells there then down to Benin for a couple years. Then off to the the other side in Tanzania. Pretty much all over that god forsaken place over a five year span. I assume you guys will install the Concertina wire and beef up the water cannons. Hope you guys get Phillipino or Maltese crews cause the locals suck bad. Los Palmas is nice though.

I've been out here in the thick of it since June and they sent us supervisors back out to the field. there has been a significant increase in activity since October, the rigs have nearly doubled between pecos and carlsbad and the parkinglots in town are getting full again.

We have been very busy since Thanksgiving. Started running a little thin last week then several customers have loaded us up again. Would sure be nice to actually make some money this year.....fingers crossed.

Same here bud. I had a neighbor some years back try to get me to switch over to the refining side. It would have cut my salary in half but he said it was stable work. Being on the drilling side in times like these has been no fun. Always the first thing they cut and the last to come back.

I have been trying to get on to International for years in hopes if/when things slow stateside I could take my talents to South America or Asia.

I broke out in 2007 right before the financial crisis so this is my 3rd downturn. I went into business for myself in 2014 about 6 months before the crap hit the fan and got blessed in 2015 that I was only out long enough to pack my family up and move back home to TX. I knew buddies that struggled for nearly 2 years trying to back and their take home has never fully recovered.... then Covid.

You are right this one feels different. Not because the world doesn't still need oil, it consumes more than ever before, but because oil doesn't fit the climate change narrative and people are using climate change for big power grabs. You get the sense the politicians on both sides want to bury the industry in the USA and will let it go dark before they tell the truth. The truth being that renewables aren't the 2nd coming and with a projected population of 9 billion people by 2050 above all energy plans are all that's gonna work.
