Wet heavy snow here in Menard as well. Supposed to snow most of the day, 30-32 degrees depending on where you are.
If you are driving down 83, watch the bridge over the river in town, packed ice and snow on it.

Loving the snow pics fellas.

My youngest son and I dealt with some heavy and cold rain to shoot 4 ducks. Not near the flight I was expecting based off my scouting report yesterday afternoon.

Yesterday evening I almost got my youngest his first bow shot. This boar actually got spooked by a bigger pig that wouldn’t come in before dark.

I was hoping he would emerge as a quality starter but he's been a disappointment so far. Big impressive looking kid that can tackle but a tad on the slow side. He's had some playing time, one of those guys that struggles to get to the ball.

6” so far here in Franklin. Lost power and hay barn across from us that was just built had roof collapse. Also have trees down. Never seen anything like this.

I think Bama only because I see them getting a couple more stops and still getting their 2 or 3 big play easy scores. If osu can eliminate the big plays (0 easy scores) they win. Hoping for a great game.

Really looking forward to watchin the game. I hope that Fields is able to perform at the same level he did in the Semi-Final game. For obvious reasons I will be watching the game that Coach Sark calls before he gets on a plane to Texas.

There are rumors of a lot of Bama coaches coming with him, so it will be an interesting development.

I think the game has a chance to be very close if Fields plays at the level he did against Clemson. Bama has a lot of fire power and I still think they win but I wouldn't be surprised to see this one decided very late in the 4th.

The line has moved further towards Bama, but I'm not sure I'd buy into it.

I think it will go to the wire with Bama pulling out a win. I think that Bama gets more pressure on Fields and reduces his accuracy. It will be interesting to see how Bama's defense does against Sermon and the Buckeyes fair against the Bama receivers.
Should be a great game.

I don't remember him being a big recruiting win. Most Texas people that pay attention couldn't figure out why he was offered. He was a very poor fit for the Big 12. Todd Orlando said he had the best linebacker film he had ever seen or something crazy. He looked big and slow to me, which doesn't fit the Big 12 very well. The only thing that I can remember people being excited about is that he was the first guy Texas had landed from IMG.

When he got to Texas he took to strength and conditioning too well and got up to a ripped up and stiff 250-255 in no time. There just isn't a position for 6'-6'1" 250-260 guys that can't rush the passer in the Big 12 or really anywhere now.

Anyway, he has been recruited over by two straight classes, so it wasn't a surprise or loss when he left.

The only real portal losses for Texas have been Kenyatta Watson, Xavion Alford, and Ja'Quinden Jackson (if he would have switched positions). Only one of them (Alford) was really any kind of surprise.

They didn't have him for the game against ND and the replacement is a Rs-Sr, so I don't think it will have a huge impact.
