Round 3 just moved through. Ground drained off and 20 minutes of yellow filled it up again with another bigger round coming.

Love the timing. Good to get one of these big ones in before the normal Memorial Day.

My dad and I were planning on getting out to put up a new blind and do a little work, got a text from our LO in Sterling that they got enough rain that he suggested waiting for another weekend. I'll take all the rain we can get

We're gonna put in a food plot later this year and was planning on going through Turner for the seed. Anyone have a better suggestion on company or seeds to use?

Us poor boys on the west side of the county didn’t get that. More like 1.7”. Right around Mertzon had places with 4”.

1.5” in sterling. Wheat fields both places should really pop now.

Received a teaser pic from my taxidermist of the management buck I harvested at our lease this past season. Can’t wait to pick him up. His turnaround is awesome. Have another buck I shot at our family farm coming back as well in the next month.

Looking good, heck I'm still waiting for my 2018/19 buck from safari studios in Angelo. My daughter buck from this season is ready. I'm not a patient man and I'm really anxious to get my biggest to date back.

2.2" is what the ranch foreman poured out of his gauge. Should be rolling onto the lease early morning tomorrow to top off feeders and do a little, and I mean a little work.

I got my management 8 back last week. Didn’t get a “trophy” by ranch standards but I’m pretty happy with this one.

Yes I’m already teaching her how to take good antler pics. He was 125 and change.

Looks like our birds have returned from there winter vacation............Few pictures below.

Our lease grounds are looking good for the most part, lots of green browse started. Deer are still cleaning up feed each throwing.
Approximately half our bucks are still holding on to their horns.

Hahahahhaa.....Ours actually are hitting it pretty hard. I'm glad because we added wormer this round. I'm sure it won't last long with all this green popping up.....but I'm always happy for Mother Nature to pick up her part of the feed bill.
