He got to the feeder just in time. Surprised the bobcat didnt stick around and try to get to the coon.

Bobcat: "What's up? Seen any rodents?"
Coon: "Not much, just grabbing a snack. No rodents around here lately, but there is another feeder east of here that had a couple of squirrels hanging around"
Bobcat: " Thanks for the info, think I will head over and pay them a visit. Enjoy your snack and have a good evening"
In the real world, nothing really wants to fight an adult coon if it can be avoided

My dad was big coon hunter for years. Back in the '60s, they regularly had coon dog trials in our area. He had a hound that could kill a coon about as fast as he could get hold of it. He had no fear, and would grab a coon by the neck and kill it in no time. They actually banned that dog from competition, because they'd usually only have 3 or 4 coons on hand for the trials, and he'd kill a couple of them before they could get him pulled off of them! But, the truth for the vast majority of hounds, a big boar coon would whip their azz! Many people wouldn't believe it, but bobcats didn't generally have the fight in them that a coon did.
